Comet Cave Bug Empty Comet Cave Bug

I just left Legen Town for the first time and was heading to Amatree town. When I tried to enter Comet Cave off of route 5 to get there I wasn't able to enter the cave. My sprite can enter the cave entryway but only the first step, the game doesn't transition into the new map. Ideas?

You can take the Subway from Legen to Burole Town and head north to get to Amatree Town.

Got the same bug. Can't enter come cave from the entrance on route 5.
