making a new nucleon

for some reason every time i evolve a lv1 eevee with a rare candy it becomes a umbreon instead of nucleon.

i first tried to use another nucleon but it evolved into an umbreon. F12'd and tried to use the trawpint from the shelter figuring that it would work like this time.

is this a bug or is there something i am missing?

So I take it you're levelling it up with another nuclear type in your party?

tried a nuclear trawpint and a nucleon. same results.

Have you tried levelling it normally? (Ie. without rare candy)

That's right. If it's happiness is high before that it can evolve into the day/night version of that pokemon... Brainfart on my end.... :/
