Hi, everybody!

I thought you might be interested to know that I've set up a Wordpress blog about Fakemon Design, where I'll post in greater detail about pixel art and elements of designing a good fakemon.

There'll be new art and stuff about Uranium there too, so if that sounds interesting, I invite you to check it out, comment, subscribe, etc. At the moment there's only one post, but I'll post to this thread each time I make a new update.

After a couple weeks' delay, I finally made Part 2 of the Fakemon Design tutorial! This part focuses on my process of making a pixel sprite. I hope it's valuable for anyone that wants to make pixelart.

A couple new posts that I forgot to report here: the third and final part of the Fakemon design tutorial, some large artwork I did of the fakemon in question (Wizkit), and some brand-new (weird) fakemon that are based on eyeball monsters and are unrelated to any project, I just made them for fun.

Fakemon Designs: Alebri

It's about a new fakemon design, not for Uranium but based on Mexican folk art. Also features some photos I took myself! Check it out in case that's your kinda thing.

Oooooooooh, the shading! The color schemes! I absolutely love those, nice job
Question: does that lizard (bottom right) can evolve into a Quetzalcoatl type of creature? 'Cause it seems like it.

Glad you like it! To answer your questions, it doesn't evolve but all four formes share one Mega Evolution, it's a Dark/Dragon type.

That dragon is really good. Just how do all four Mega Evolve into it?

If you check the blog post, you can see that they are all just variations on the same species of Pokemon, and they all mega evolve into the same thing using the Alebrijite.

I did read it, and yeah. Makes more sense now. Gosh, there should be some kind of sub-myth regarding this species and their variations, 'cause they look amazin', and so does this dragon.
Dark/Dragon, huh. Interesting.
