Alakazarn's fakemon thread

This forum has inspired me to throw together a new sprite for a pokemon named Paraslime (it's a parasite and a slime )
Here's the draft of the sprite!
And then here's the little thing I whipped up using the format everyone else seemed to be using!

Paraslime:

Basically it puts you to sleep and then absorbs your dreams. Trying to be as parasite-y as possible..

The fakemon looks pretty good what types would it be psychic seems good because it puts u to sleep and absorbs your dream. It may be good as a psychic and ghost though

That thing is really sweet, it reminds me of what I've been learning in ecology about parasites that can hijack the brains of their hosts and modify their behavior. Those are actually really common in nature!

I like the name too, and Psychic/Poison is a really cool type.

Would it possibly have the ability of levitate 
Because that would eliminate ground so on ghost and dark types would be super effective

Haha yuppp. I learned about those when I was theorizing about ways a potential zombie apocalypse could ever happen
It's mostly based off of those ideas, because of a parasite I read about that hijacks mice brains! (Which is also a slime )

Toxoplasmosis Gondii? That thing is crazy cool! It actually makes mice and rats attracted to the smell of cats, meaning they get eaten which allows the parasite to enter the cat, because they can only reproduce inside the body of a cat for whatever reason.

They can infect humans too, if you're scooping cat litter or what have you, and studies have shown that infected people show more risky behaviors, are more likely to get into car accidents, and are even more likely to be suicidal, even when they have no history of it in their past... all because of a parasite hijacking their minds! Crazy stuff. So if you know someone who suddenly started acting differently, maybe it's because a parasitic microorganism is changing their brain chemistry. Makes you think!

The neck looks a bit elongated.

I like it the eyes should be black or blue and the face (the light blue area) just needs some enhancing.

Cumuleo has lots of hp and speed, and mediocre other stats.

200/40/60/40/60/110

It learns Noble Roar, Scary Face, Icy Wind, Fairy Wind, Razor Wind, Tailwind, Whirlwind, Silverwind, Scald, Thunderbolt, Twister, Rain Dance, Hail, and more!

he's not stealing anyone's thunder! i want as many people as possible to post their sprites and artwork here, please don't get jealous :/

As for Cumuleo, the design is a little simple but I like it! It's got a good name, too, and a really interesting learnset. I bet there are all sorts of strategies to use with him, I'm thinking Aqua Ring +Leftovers with Whirlwind and an entry hazard could be a fun way to mess with people. Plus, Volt Absorb is a great ability for its typing.

I come bearing new sprites and pokemon !

The first one is an Ice/Steel who's signature move is Icicle Trap, which is an ice version of stealth rock.
The second one is a Ground/Fighting which starts out with horrible stats, and then uses Contrary to transform itself into a monster by using Superpower, Close Combat, and Hammer Arm!
