Power Plant side quest

Hey guys,

First off, love the game! Better than the majority of pokemon games I've played.

So the question. Stupid me thought to leave the power plant til after the third badge. I realize now I probably cannot go there. Did this mistake prevent me from getting Nuclear type pokemon at all? I would hate to restart with 20 hours already in.

Dont worry, you'll get a second chance soon after the next gym. there are some cool ones you'll be able to revive then.
