Nuclear pokemon?
Are they ok use? can they be reverted to normal and can normal pokemon go nuclear?
Just wondering if theyre like shadow pokemon that can be purified or corrupted.
I would also like to know if there is a difference between normal and nuclear pokemon stats.

Re: Nuclear pokemon?
There are two different type of nuclear pokemon
pure and unpure
pure are pokemon that are originally nuclear type like nucleon
unpure are those that become nuclear type due to prolonged exposure to radiation
nuclear is not regarding as like a new type but their moves are super effective against all pokemons.
But in return they receive double damage from all types

Re: Nuclear pokemon?
Nuclear Pokemon are regular Pokemon that have been transformed by being exposed to nulear radiation. They have the same stats as their regular counterparts but have one of their types replaced by Nuclear-type, and learn new moves like Nuclear Slash and Half-life. The Nuclear type is highly unstable, so it is super effective on (almost*) every other type, but also weak to every other type. You can use Nuclear pokemon in battle, but they are risky since they are likely to disobey their trainers.
Additionally, like MidnightSun said, there are "pure" Nuclear Pokemon that aren't disobedient, however these are very rare. One such as Nucleon:
There isn't yet a way to "cure" nuclear-infected Pokemon, but there may be one in future releases of the game.
* the only types that resist Nuclear are Steel and Nuclear itself.

Re: Nuclear pokemon?
So does that mean when I attack steel pokemon using nuclear type moves it is ineffective? or does it do normal or half damage?

Re: Nuclear pokemon?
Attacking Steel with Nuclear type moves does half damage. That makes certain Pokemon such as Gararewl a really good asset against Nuclear mons.
However, if the Pokemon is Steel/another type (like / Metalynx), then attacks will do normal (1x) damage.
Another pokemon called Hazma, which is not in Beta 4.0 right now, is a Nuclear-type that is totally immune to other Nuclear-type attacks.

Re: Nuclear pokemon?
If I recall, the strengths/weaknesses are to the first 12 types, resists Nuclear, resisted by Steel and Nuclear, and neutral against...Ghost, Dark, Fairy, Dragon, and Bug if I recall correctly.
And is Hazma's immunity to Nuclear an ability?
