Mega Evolution Empty Mega Evolution

Hi guys, I've cleared the 6th gym and went into the Labyrinth cave and I found Baariettite. It says my Baariette will evolve when it holds it in battle, but nothing happens.
Unlike in XY or OR/AS, there isn't a button while in battle to Mega evolve my Pokémon...

So, how can I let my pokémon Mega Evolve?

Yeah, you need the Mega Bracelet key item to trigger Mega Evolution, you get that after the 7th Gym.
