Pkmn Breeder's Club of Tandor

What is the club I am making right now? It's people playing Pokemon Uranium who are going to try and make certain pokemon more accessible, such as breeding starters.

What do you do then? You start putting them out on the GTS, and WonderTrade.

I'm fairly certain we have a Ditto, and since we have Raptorch with Flame Body we should be able to breed well.
IVs can be worried about later, but for now making sure everyone can complete the pokedex is a priority.

Will you pledge to join the Pokemon Breeder Club of Tandor?

EDIT: I found information that you should not name hatched eggs. Please take them to the namerater after, as this is a known bug in the current Beta.

Already put over 50 pokemons in te wonder trade (Eletux/Orchynx/Gargryph)

Nice! I haven't played much lately, but I have two playthroughs to work through to get that Ditto haha
Maybe we should work on getting Dittos to put out into the GTS and Wondertrade too?

But still, where are the Dittos?

Is there anyone breeding Slothohm? I'm breeding Snopach and I wanna trade. I also have one Raptorch egg to hatch and I'm looking for an Eletux.

I would like to join as well. I had forgotten Ditto's ability to breed with anything, including the kitchen sink , so I'm excited when I get to Maskara island.

Can anyone suggest any good online reading for breeding, besides bulbapedia and Pkmn Essentials Wiki? I need to get my learning on the go

Once I complete the available pokedex I will start breeding as much as I can and start filling up the wonder trade and will also be taking trade requests if anyone needs them

I'm doing a Wonderlocke atm, all I get are Chyinmunks and Mankeys and I been thinking of quitting my Wonderlocke since I ain't getting anything decent in the Wonder Trade system. I'll just get the 7th Badge and then breed whatever you want.

I spent an hour wonder-trading Linkites that I bred for even longer when I got REALLY bored. Can I join?

Wonder Trade doesn't even work. And I want to join I bred an Electruxo for 3 days (5 boxes Eletuxes) and I still have no Shiny....

The chances of getting a shiny are 1 in 4/8000 something? and breeding takes a long time with hatching eggs so you'll have to be very patient. Not many people have shiny Electruxo's that I know of atm.

Masuda method is 1/4096

I really wish they'd change that for this game. I'd be fine if they made it to where we had to do a sidequest for the shiny charm, or a pokeradar, but with matsuda method the rate was always really high.

It's normally 1/8192 and masuda method halves it already!

Yeah but the issue is that the probability has never been practical. Shinies are rare enough as is, and after hatching 10,000 eggs with either probability, I'm only slightly more likely to get a shiny at some point with the second.

It'd just be nice if there was a way to increase the odds further. I don't like all the shiny forms of every pokemon, so I'm likely to not try and breed for shiny's in some cases.

I believe there was mention of possibly implementing something to increase shiny odds for those who complete the dex in the final version, but I don't remember what the final statement from Twitch and JV (if there was one) about that.
