Breeding question

I've finally managed to get my hands upon a Ditto to use for breeding... but practically ever 'mon I own... the old man keeps telling me they don't like each other. Am I doing something wrong? Or do I have to catch another Ditto or re-catch the 'mons I want to breed until on actually starts to like my current Ditto.

So the trick is to have traded 'mons of the same species?

Ah. I see now. All my 'mons that I breed with in my main games ORAS are all mine, but the Ditto I use there is a foreign one. That'd explain that. So I still have a chance its just lower than I am used too.

Just need to put my Ditto up for trade for another Ditto.

I haven't really done any breeding on here yet, but in the games I have I generally just stuck my ditto in daycare with whatever pokemon I wanted til it gave me an egg.
