Glitch Terlard?

I can see the terlard above the opening but i can't battle it . Am I doing something wrong or is this a glitch I don't know .

It's a glitch that occurred when they fixed a previous glitch that prevented people from progressing if they lost to Terlard the first time.

So there is no way to battle it? Well dammit

No you can't battle it. It doesn't prevent you from progressing in any way so you don't have to worry about it. I suppose you miss out on some experience but it's not a huge deal.
