Pokémon Dark Rising 1 & 2

So this is a ROM hack of fire red I believe; it includes loads of pokemon from the first 5 generations, and is meant to be a super hard version for those of us who have gotten bored of how easy the normal games are.

I would highly recommend for a challenge - I've got about 4 hours and I've just passed the first gym. The starters are dragons, (bagon, gible & dratini) and the levels for the storyline go up into the 90s, just to give you an idea of the difficulty

I've played Dark Rising, but have not had time to do Dark Rising 2 yet. I love the game, but be cautious as there are some odd glitches. FYI: This game is pretty difficult and will require much grinding of levels to keep up with the trainers in the game.

Also, I believe that after Dark Rising 2 there is a series called Order Destroyed that follows the story. Additionally, I think the creator is working on Dark Rising 3 or has plans to work on it.

Yeah I'm currently grinding in the water caverns actually :L and I've found some of the glitches already - thankfully I save regularly now xD

There is a mini series of chapters after that I think they're on the link I put, but I'm not sure. At any rate, there are loads more games to play as well, and this one will take a long time :S
