Selecting a Starter
It seems no matter what combinations of answers on the test I do it won't let me pick a different starter. It always automatically gives me Raptorch. Any ideas?

The grass type or water type. Trying to figure out how to even receive a different starter. On a new game while my other account has an issue fixed.

Re: Selecting a Starter
The main thing is if you choose gentle (orchynx), well-mannered (electruxo) or aggressive (raptorch). Base your other answers around what seems to be gentle or well-mannered

Kind of sucks you receive Raptorch with ember and the other two just have Scratch and a defensive move.

Did you get the starter you wanted? If not, here's a link Twitch posted in a similar topic to help guide you. http://pokemon-uranium.wikia.com/wiki/Pokemon_Trainer_Test

Yeah. Just weird Raptorch comes with Ember, Scratch, and growl while other two come with just scratch and growl.

Yeah I guess. Maybe has to do with the fact that he's meant to be the aggressive starter so he starts out with a STAB move?

Maybe so. Still sort of a disadvantage to the user not starting our with a STAB move.

Re: Selecting a Starter
After double checking, Eletux also receives a STAB move at the beginning, making Orchynx the only one who is stuck with the basic moves until he learns vine whip at lvl 9. Following the logic from earlier, I guess this is attributed to its gentle, defensive nature.

Meh. They should fix that so all three have a stab move or none do.

Yeah excpect orchynx has the steel type - res to most of the pokemon you first meet, (normal types) so I guess it doesn't really need a powerful move till you get to the fighting types and stuff later on?

TBH the starters are not THAT important unless you're doing a Nuzlocke. Raptorch gets DEMOLISHED by water and Orchynx by fire, both the very first choice one makes against Fire and Grass respectively, and neither exactly has a feature strong enough to make them worth keeping with such a disadvantageous type combo. Electruxo is kind of fine, but personally I'm not a very big fan of water/electric.
