Can't Start Game Empty Can't Start Game

I just downloaded the game for the first time, and I try to start it, but it gives me this error:

Exception: Errno::EINVAL
Message: Invalid argument - ;"c:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin"

I have tried restarting the game, redownloading it, restarting my computer and reinstalling Java, but it still does not work. I am running the game on windows 8. I would appreciate any help. thanks!
