Is this a sidequest?

I'm just curious, coz in Venesi there's this couple with this sleeping girl that hasn't woken up. Is this supposed to be a sidequest because in pokemon RSE there is a similar thing in Rustboro city and after you cheer up this girl her dad gives u a special pokemon wallpaper in ur pc. I just trying to find every easter egg there is.

I'm pretty sure it's a reference to Dramsama:

"A sinister and vengeful Pokémon, it puts its foes into an eternal sleep and steals their souls to add to its tail."

Not sure if you can wake her up yet.

It may or may not be a future sidequest, but if it was, it would not be accessible in this version and would be available in a future update.
