Secrets and Easter eggs! (Spoiler Warning!!!)

Here's one i think i found!

The Graphiti there, not sure if it's a reference or anything. anyone know?

Yes I beleive if I'm thinking the right city it could symbolize the dunsparce gang

Nice catch! But it's not from the Dunsparce gang; it reads "Dew" who is the artist that made those tiles!

There's a few more easter eggs in the game, chiefly references to other series and things... see if you can find them!

I Think I found one? if not, it's a huge coincidence. But, outside Vinoville, The sidequest for a pokemon egg has you talk too "Ripley". what's cool about this is that she's talking about alien activity, and when you complete the quest, you get an agg off a UFO pokemon. Is this an allusion to the Alien series?

Totally found another one! on route 5, there's a cave on the beach, go in past the strength rocks, you get a fossil. (hair or tusk, I got Hair.) Then, once you beat him, he goes all Gollum from lord of the rings.

Another one is a trainer who talks about The Legend of Zelda. Sorry, I can't remember the specific route

Then, in Bealbeach City, there's one guy who says: "Did I die and go to heaven? Cause I'm in paradise. The sky is blue, the sea is warm, and the girls are smokin'." Is it a song or poem?

Plus there's a fisherman somewhere who says: "Family, duty, honor, fishing." or something like that. That's definitely a parody for a phrase from "Game of Thrones"

also most of the kids play rhe pokemon games, and in different towns there are different editions

The drunk at the Tipsy Tancoon in Venesi city has a miniquest where you need to show him a Jackdeary to prove he wasn't hallucinating from alcohol overdose. Once you do so, he says "now I just have to prove I DID see a Mew under that truck" which I'm sure will bring memories to any pokemon fans.

I became a Hokage faster than Naruto did =P just defeating the Ninja crew on my way to Maskara Island xD

For some reason this makes me want to suggest they put in a researcher who keeps mentioning STEIN'S GATE, and CHRISTINA
Anyhow, on the Jackdeary note, it actually is funny. Why? Because it relates to the whole time period where miners could bet on having seen a Jackalope or something XD
(though the mew truck was perfect too)

I don't know if the shiny sprites are available anywhere yet, but shiny Modrille and Drilgann have a color scheme quite fitting of the series they're in reference to.

Yep, that's from GoT and the fact that is a Fisherman makes it more obvious, since those are the words of house Tully, whose sigil is a trout

Shiny Eletux/Electruxo/Mega Electruxo's color scheme is a reference to Black Adam.

Yes you can

They are a little bit higher than encountering them in the wild, but it does take longer to hatch 1 egg than to encounter a pokemon ofc.
You can also increase the chance of getting a shiny by breeding 2 pokemons from 2 different countries.
