Ninjas or Pirates?

I just saw the post and Tumblr and was wondering what you guys though about it? I like ninjas and all... but I think pirates would be cooler. Like think about pirates stealing your pokemon and kidnaping your entire family then throwing one of them off the plank and or shooting them in the head. Then again a failed assassination attempt from ninjas on your life would be pretty epic. STILL ALIVE BITCHES!

As for me, I've always been in the pirates camp, something about sailing the high seas and not taking any crap from anyone while still adhering to your own pirate's code of honor is appealing. Also, they have pet parrots!

This question is totally not relevant to the plot of 4.0 why would you think that

I'll say the same thing I said on Tumblr. Do ninjas get scurvy? No they don't.

Also, I think ninja have better overall representatives in the media. Dr. McNinja? Ninja Brian from the band Ninja Sex Party (who is also a theoretical physicist and musician)? TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES? Hell, Batman's technically a ninja.

There's some decent pirate representatives, I know - the impressive Pirate job in Bravely Default (earned from one of the most likable antagonists in the game to boot), and I can't deny there's a special place in my heart for the space pirates of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, but ninjas just have such a high overall quality.

As an aside, I think that, if you do have a part in the game about the age-old conflict, there should be some kind of twist on it.

Like, imagine a Romeo and Juliet-style subplot where a young kunoichi lass and a naive but optimistic cabin boy share a forbidden love. And then in the end, when they both die, the two clans bury the hatchet and join as one to create a band of ninja pirates. Their peglegs are actually katana, or something.

That's totally how R&J ended. I'm an English major, trust me on this.
