Fangame Recommendations

Well, the video games thread kind of turned into this, but I figured I'd open up a thread in this forum too.

There are lots of Pokemon fangames out there, lots more than even I know about! For starters, the Pokemon Essentials Wiki has a list of fangames that are playable. There are also lots and lots of romhacks out there, although I don't know of a master list anywhere...

For starters, I'd recommend Super Pokemon Eevee Edition; the retro-style aesthetic and unique gameplay makes it really appealing to me. Also of note are Pokemon Island for its non-linear gameplay, and Pokemon Sage which, despite being made collectively by 4chan, has some of the coolest fakemon designs I've seen in a fangame. And of course, I would be remiss if I failed to mention Pokemon Raptor, which is a 100% completed fangame of a very impressive scale.

What are some of your favorite fangames?

All those 3 games are great pokemon twilight has the best fakemon I've seen only competing with some from pokemon obsidian and uranium. Twilight features the return of team rocket as well as a new light type and over 200 fakemon

Reborn is up to episode 11 since I last checked it is by far one of the best updates come regularly and the storyline is awesome. The tiles are made by them and the sprites are all custom so it's a great game to check out.

Dedenne1I have heard of that game and hear of how challenging yet really great game. I haven't played it though because of the language I wish someone would translate it. I've played pokemon twilight currently they have over 220 fakemon which most look amazing the next update comes within the coming months. Really great storyline but is somewhat challenging. Definitely worth checking out. Second to only pokemon uranium.

Pokemon phoenix rising. Not released yet, but from the screenshots it loosk great.

I've looked at Phoenix rising it looks great and promising I know beta testers are being picked soon

I've been playing Legends of the Arena the last few days. It's been pretty fun. It bugged out right before I could complete the game, which is something of a pity, but while I was playing I was having a good time.

My sister stole Reborn off me, and has also had one heck of a good time from the sounds of things.

I started Solar Light and Lunar Dark last night, which is one of my favourites so far, I think (favourite so-far-functional game, anyway). The fakemon are cute, and the npcs amuse me.

Im on like the 9th gym in reborn the story is top class and despite some lag theres not many bugs. Omg i wanna okay sl and ld so badly but im way too busy im gonna have to play that sometime. Legends of the arena? Ik the creator but havent seen him around much is it still being worked on or finished?
