Pokemon Transformation Between Update?

Hello everyone I've been playing this game on-and-off for quite a while, so I'm glad to see that it's still being worked on I noticed something odd when I updated my save from the previous version to the newest one (v4.2). I asked this question on the Pokecommunity Uranium Page, but since I noticed you guys have a forum, I figured that it'd be better to do it here.

Anyway, when I downloaded the newest version and installed it, I noticed that when I started up the game, that my Seikamater had turned into a Munna. It's kind of weird how a Pokemon could change species between versions, unless the Pokedex was rearranged or something. Now I personally don't really mind, considering that Munna is my second favorite Pokemon and all, but if there's something I can do to turn it back, that'd be great XD

I've also gone ahead and taken a picture of it, as evidence:

I have no idea why it became a Munna because there weren't any pokedex changes. Just to be clear, are you on v4.2 or v4.2.3b? Maybe one of the admins can take a look at this.

Yeah, the version I'm playing on is v4.2.3b. I believe the last one I played was version 3.1 or something like that, so there's been a somewhat considerable gap in time (I don't recognize all of the new 'mons on the forums )

Oh, I hadn't realized it had been that long. Perhaps the dex was updated then. I started in 4.0 so I only know the current dex. Perhaps the numbers got shifted with the addition of new pokemon.

Yeah, it's been a while for me, so that might be the problem XD This is a bit off topic, but I've been exploring some of the older areas I remember, and I've got to say that the team's done a good job upping the quality on them The environments in general are just really nice to look at, and some of the new features like Super Training are implemented pretty well Still haven't been to any new areas yet, but I'm looking forward to it! XD

Glad to hear that you like it! Make sure to check out the Sticky Thread about known bugs so you don't trigger any on accident. Thought I would mention it since you brought up the Super Trainer (he's a bit buggy).

Oh, yes, that was a while ago! The reason is that Seikamater was #092 in v3.1, but in 4.0 and later #092 is Munna and Seikamater is now #143. We figured that since only a few people managed to get Seikamater in Beta 3.1, it would be ok to change it to Munna for the updated version of the game.

Sorry you lost your Seikamater... enjoy your weird Munna, I guess?

Hmm... I see. Kinda unfortunate, since Seikamater was a pretty good anchor for my team (levels are a bit scattered, so Corsola and Seikamater are better than everything else), but I think I can manage. In that case, do you happen to know where the Move Relearner is? If so, do you also know how to get Heart Scales? I'll most likely need them to teach Munna some older moves such as Psychic.

EDIT: Funny thing is that the Seikamater already had decent characteristics for a Munna (Relaxed, high HP/Defense/Sp.D) The whole Anthell story was really cool though, which is why I got one in the first place XD

EDIT #2: Nevermind, made it to Verisi and found the guy randomly XD It's cool that you don't need Heart Scales for it (it's a dumb mechanic anyway). Well, at least my Musharna will have Water Pulse, which is kinda funny Don't have a Moon Stone yet though.

Wait, you have (or had, I guess) a Seikamater, but you haven't evolved your Corsola?

I think the most fitting way to do this is make it a Musharna and go competitive.

Yeah, my Corsola didn't have max happiness at the time (although it was close). It ended up evolving on my way to the 6th Gym.
