Fishing bug

Hi! I just recently got the old rod and when I tried fishing in Route 1 & successfully caught a Fortog, there was an error that popped up. I thought it was just in that place so I also tried fishing & catching Fortog in Moki Town and the same error popped up. Can someone please help me? I'm currently using the 4.2 Beta btw.

Ah okay thank you! Btw awesome job with Pokemon Uranium! This is one of my favorite fan-made Pokemon games.

I though the fishing bug was fixed with 4.1?

That was the one bug that we didn't fix, it only happens when people fish without a full party has to do with the icon of the newly caught Pokemon appearing on the menu. Fixing it would require JV to rewrite a lot of codes, so right now we're just telling people to avoid it by registering the Old Rod.
