Shinies You Found

For two days I've been wishing and wishing that I could find a shiny Grozard...and today that wish came true! I found and successful caught the little one! :3 His name is Terror and he's my first shiny in this game.

What shinies have you guys found in the game and where?

I haven`t found one yet. Do they have something different except the look? And how rare are they?

In the regular games, there isn't much of a difference except for minor stat changes (that's what I heard, at least). Not sure about this game, though.

I can't really answer the second question, though, since I know about as much on that as you.

Not quite - in gen 2, shininess was determined by stats, but the following generations made that value independent of stats. Prior to generation 6 it was a 1 in 8192 chance, but now it's double that (1 in 4096). I think Uranium uses the 1/8192 odds, but don't quote me on that.

I recommend the Bulbapedia page on Shiny Pokemon for more detailed info.

Not sure what the odds are in Uranium actually, they might be 1/4096 but I'm not positive about that.

When it comes to shinies... I had a bug in my game while beta testing it and every wild Pokemon was shiny for a while. Here's a box of all the ones I have right now. (I used to have more, but I traded them all away.)

Yes that Trawpint is shiny and nuclear, no it doesn't have a custom sprite.

I really really really really want a shiny Baashawn, but I just got a normal one in trade so I'm happy for now and hope to catch one soon. I do have a shiny Eeve, and it looks pretty cool too.

Other than the colour of the pokemon, you can tell if it's a shiny if it has a star next to its name

anything is okay, i got a level 25 nucleon.

After alot of farming and not getting a shiny, this beauty crossed my path!

Found a shiny Baaschaf! Was grinding levels and would have killed it if I wasn't paying attention.

I found a shiny Dwebble! It doesn't appear shiny though..?

Of course it couldn't have been a Chicoatl or something aha
I did end up catching it but I'm stuck in Amatree so I can't get of out of the PC. ;o;

Not all of the sprites are implemented yet, so that might be the case here.

As for the shiny rate, Twitch mentioned on the first page of this thread that he thinks it might be 1/4096.

Yeah I was thinking that might be the case after thinking it over a bit, I just for some reason defaulted to figuring the normal pokemon would already have them in? XP
Oh well Marble is still cute. She can just turn actually shiny later. ^^

The chance of finding a shiny is 1/8192.

I've been into the pokemon games (Except for any game after ruby/sapphire) for about 15 years now and the only shiny I have ever had has been the Eevee, JV put up in the mystery gift section lol
