Avoid Using Wonder Trade If Possible. (fixed)

There have been reports of people receiving corrupted pokemon through Wonder Trade that causes their saves to become unplayable. I am not an admin, but am taking it into my own hands to try and help protect people's saves. Please avoid using this feature until we can get a proper response from the admins.

I do not know if this is affecting GTS or not but if you are unsure if a pokemon on the GTS is in the game yet or not, please look it up on the wiki. We do our best to keep it updated. One of the admins did mention that there was a hacker messing with the trade system earlier so this could be the cause of the issue.

Once again, please refrain from using Wonder Trade until we get a proper response from the Admins.

I can confirm that this is happening. I received a lvl 1 Urayne and when I went to my box to check it out it promptly crashed.

Tried going back in and same error every time.

Deleted the contents of my saved games folder and started over.

Meh, it happens.

Well s*** , I used wondertrade and I got a praseopunk Do I have to restart to since I crash as well?

Praseopunk is not in the game right now sadly =(

I'm sorry for those that lost their save files. Thank goodness I read this before I played any tonight. I usually end up just WT'ing a little bit just for fun before grinding my lvl's.

I had a Chainite in my GTS maybe it's gone or I've gotten a corrupted mon... I'm not gonna check till it's fixed though...

You can't. Upon entering the GTS your game is saved.

i mean drop a copy of your not corrupt savefile somewhere else maybe on an usb stick to make sure you have a file which you can use again if your other file become corrupt

Gotcha. Yeah if you were really curious you could do that. I'm just gonna avoid the GTS and Wonder Trade since I don't really have need for them.

i want that ppl remember that this option exist if they need to trade linkite or something
