Hi is there anyway to turn off sound as as much as i love the music just cant listen to anything in the background while playing?

There are no in-game options for that. However, your pc should have a volume mixer where you can turn off the sound from the application.

Actually, there is a way to mute the music and sound effects: press f1 to open up the system menu and then uncheck the box that says "Mute BGM/BGS".
