Stuck in department store in Bealbeach city

I was exploring bealbeach city after beating the gym and I went to the top floor of the poke mart now everytime I try to go down the elevator the guy just says which floor would you like to go to ? then no options. I would not like to restart my game because of this bug if someone could help me out that would be great thanks.

This bug has been fixed, run the patcher (included in the 4.2 download) to update and then you will be able to continue playing normally.

where would the patcher be ?

It's in the folder with the game. It's called "Patcher" and has the same icon.

I don't have that is it only with the 4.2 download ?
