4.2 Ev and Iv Counter
Hey I'm relatively new to this Ev and Iv stuff and I have no idea what the numbers shown on the counter mean. Could someone briefly explain?

Re: 4.2 Ev and Iv Counter
Basically, both augment your pokemon's base stats to some extent, but are obtained differently.
IVs (or Individual Values) are given to a pokemon when it is caught or otherwise obtained (starter, gift, breeding, ect), and range from 1 (being HORRIBLE) to 31 (being perfect.)
EVs (or Effort Values) range from 0 to 255, and you can only have a total of 510 distributed per pokemon. These can be obtained one of two ways: defeating pokemon with appropriate EV yields, or Super Training.
However, these are mainly the concern of competitive players and should not worry you if you are just going through the game casually.

Re: 4.2 Ev and Iv Counter
Just note that if you use the Super Trainer it is possible to receive more than 510 EVs. When I initially reported the issue, JV didn't mention fixing it, but did say that pokemon with more than 510 EVs would be banned in PvP/Online Battles, so I would imagine that it is still possible to over EV (although I have not tried).

2. The key on your keyboard that says "PrtSc SysRq" or something similar is the printscreen key. It copies an image of your current screen to the clipboard. You can then paste (Ctrl+V) in Microsoft Paint or a similar image editor. Pressing Ctrl+Printscreen copies your currently active window only, which is useful for getting screenshots of the game.
3. Pressing F7 (I think?) also takes a screenshot of the game and saves it in your Saved Games folder.
