Yes. They can. So can Electric types. Even with Mega Evolution, this is NOT Gen VI, therefore status immunities aren't exactly applicable to Uranium.

Luckily, Status conditions can be dealt with.

Yep, eventually gen 6 mechanics will be implemented, but right now the game follows 4th/5th gen in this regard
