Stuck on 7th gym

So I have no clue if this is the right place to put this or not, but I guess it won't confuse anyone being here.

I have tried my heart out at the 7th gym and I still can't get past even the second acolyte you have to fight (after the wisdom room). Can someone tell me about a good pokemon I can use to get through it? Thanks a bunch!

P.S. Idk if this matters but I started with Raptorch.

Well, it depends on what your team is. The gym is mainly an Ice/Dragon dual specialty with some exceptions here and there, so Fighting, Fairy, Fire, Ice, and Rock types are all useful to some extent.

If you do not have any dedicated team-members, I recommend picking up a Jackdeary/Winotinger and leveling up a bit, as it gets Aura Sphere and Moonblast by the level it would need to be anyways. (Although, WARNING: the gym leader uses a Mega Ampharos.)

Carrot Wine is an item as of 4.1, you can buy it in Venesi City. If you finished the Garlikid sidequest, Garlikid can also be a good asset to your team since he is at a high level and is quite strong, but be careful of ice-types.
