Question related to grinding

Is there by any chance somewhere really good to grind your pokemon up just before the fire gym? The pokemon in the grass drop 100 exp or less and so do the bugs in anthell. Then because I've already beaten the Seikamater, I can't go to the lower levels on anthell to encounter more of the bug evos.

All my pokemon are severely under leveled for this gym so I was just curious.

i say just grind :/ if u get their lvls near the gyms 1 u have a good chance

What I did was actually go and rematch trainers from around the region, specifically the ones you should have gathered up in your phone. Their pokemon dynamically change depending on your team's levels and will give GREAT experience. (And with the Amulet Coin, you can get LOTS of money while you are doing such, not to mention that subway tickets are CHEAP and can be bought in bulk for quick cross-region travel.)

In fact, I grinded my team up to level 40 BEFORE taking on Deeper Anthell as a precaution for the Seikameter and preparation for Tiko later on. Then after reaching Venisi, I grinded a few more levels so I would be close to that leader's levels (since not much trainer experience is actually given between the 5th and 6th gym anyways...)

There is even a refightable trainer in Baykal, Bird Keeper Ravin, so you don't need to go too far to train. But yes, battling trainers is a great way to gain EXP!

Thank you very much for your advice! Time to go hunt down these trainers and get my Glaslug levelled, evolved and ready for action. ^_^
