A few thoughts I've had Empty A few thoughts I've had

I know a lot of people have made a big deal of route 7 having a massive encounter rate and that you guys are already addressing that, which is great because my goodness it's harsh.  A couple of further thoughts with that portion of the game though are as follows, just from my experience playing through it today.

In addition to lowering the encounter rate, maybe make some safe zones such as on the bridges and between the cave and the rest house, as trying to get back to the rest house and having a bunch of encounters right outside it was kinda lame.

With regard to the nuclear island, I think removing us from the island instantly should be tweaked a bit.  I lost three pokemon in the fight in the old plant, and then when I was instantly removed from the island and none of my pokemon were revived and I had to slog through the massive encounter route to get back to the safe house was rough.  I'd think maybe it'd be nice to either heal us before shooting us off of the island, or allow us to leave when we want (such as if we still want to catch nuclear pokemon) but block us from getting back into the plant, I think either would help a lot.

Immediately after the island, it's unclear what to do next.  I'm heading back to the town with the second lab right now since that's all it seems I can do, but we're shot right off the island without any direction afterward and the next place it seems apparent to go i.e. the other ship it is not possible to go.  I'm assuming it'll become apparent when I get back to town, but for some people this could become a notable sticking point.Edit: I'm super dumb...thought I'd gone up previously and found a wall...ignore this please, sorry about that.

Last thing is trainers with barand...oh my goodness they can be problematic at times.  Those things aren't that hard to kill when you can hit them, but their speed and damage makes them hugely dangerous, particularly to nuzlockers.  When I was first running through this with nuzlocke going I lost like 3 to the first barand trainer I encountered because it was so very much more brutal than anything else up to that point.  I'm not necessarily suggesting toning them down, but something in the vein of the trainer on the beach who asks if you want to fight him and implies he's fairly tough could be a nice way to handle it for the nuzlocke crowd who might be caught off guard and lose a bunch of their team to something that feels as though it may be incongruous.

If I can think of anything else I'll add it here, I'm loving the game so far and you guys are awesome, can't wait for that next update!

Oh yeah, also adding a store to either the beach rest house or the nuclear island house would be awesome, as I was totally out of repel from running around route 7 and low on pokeballs (I was amazed I caught the trawpint without running out), so having a place to restock would be a blessing.

Oh, the description for Nupin states it's the largest single-celled organism, but Gellin's physiology statement says it's single-celled as well, and it's many times larger than Nupin, so that should probably be addressed.

This is gonna have some spoilers below, so anyone who doesn't want to risk that don't scroll.

So I went back to the starting town after completing the fire gym and all that, and Cam is still in his house using the same lines as when you go through town early in the game.  Considering he's supposed to be missing after the events of the power plant, this should probably be rectified...like a lot... Professor Bamb'o is like that as well, so I think the first town just sorta got forgotten about after passing through with the first badge.

Also, is there no XP share in this game? It'd be really nice to have one for levelling's sake, especially if one's doing a Nuzlocke, as right now it's hard to level safely.

In the area directly after you first pass the labyrinth is a double battle against a Cool Couple who have identical speech to the ones outside Bealbeach.  I presume this to be somewhat intentional, and could be quite humorous if the dialogue was tweaked to make it clear that you were an obstacle to their relationship again, rather than the dialogue being exactly the same as it was earlier, because I'm guessing they're supposed to be exactly the same couple.

Also, the battle with the scientist directly past them is really making me wonder why so many people have S-51 when it's only possible for us to get a single one in the game, due to their extraterrestrial nature and supposed rarity. Just seems odd is all.

The exp share is located in Rochfale's Pokémon Center, it's quite hard to miss the aide there xD.

I've gotten all the way to Snowbank town and fly does not seem to be a thing, which is unfortunate because even with repels it's going to take an incredibly long time if I want to get back to West Tandor for anything. Based off the wiki it's not even in the game yet, and that feels very limiting, so it may be a consideration for 4.1 so that we can move around the map without being locked into an area quite so hard.

We intentionally left Fly off since there are certain areas in the game that are meant to be inaccessible after plot events, and Fly would negate that. However we are adding a fast-travel option in 4.1 that goes between Silverport, Venesi and Bealbeach, which should make inter-regional travel a lot easier.
