Modifying Pokemon Uranium's Sounds

While Pokemon Uranium's choice of music is already awesome, I wanted to try out if replacing some of them will boost my playing experience. I did and have found my personal ambiance.

These are the game's audio that I replaced and what I replaced them with:

• PU-Title.mp3 = Pokemon Main Theme - Super Smash Bros. Brawl
  
• PU-PokeCenter.mp3 = Pokemon Center - Super Smash Bros. Brawl
  
• PU-Gymbattle.mp3 = Gundam Wing OST 1 | 01 The Wings of a Boy Who Killed Adolescence
  
• PU-GymVictory.mp3 = FFXIV ARR OST Duty Complete Theme ( A Victory Fanfare Reborn )
  
• PU-Wild PokeBattle.ogg = Battle! Wild Pokemon Remix (Diamond / Pearl) - Super Smash Bros. Wii U
  
• PU-Trainer PokeBattle.mp3 = Battle! Trainer (Pokémon X & Y) - Super Smash Bros. 3DS
  
• PU-Anthell.mp3 = Ragnarok Online - An Ant-lion's Pit (It's a BGM for an area in a game called Ragnarok Online, similarly called Ant Hell.)
  
• PU-Amatree Town.mp3 = Fable soundtrack-Witchwood
  
• PU-Beachdesert.mp3 = Sunshine Reggae , Tropical islands
  

Most of the Super Smash Bros versions of Pokemon songs are good choices for replacements and so are some songs from the Final Fantasy series. I get really pumped up with those songs! Who else has tried replacing the audio files and what are your choices of songs?

Hmmm... I may make a metal version of this Pokemon game then lol

That being said, I hope they incorporate a mute button for all noise in the upcoming version(s). I usually like to play and have a video or something in the background while I grind, and even though I can set the "radio" to play the "blank" music file, the action sound effects still occur (hitting a wall, getting attacked, attacking, Pokemon Center jingle, etc.).

Press F1 and untick the last two boxes

Half stupid question, where are the music files located?
I've tried searching,"PU-Title.mp3" no results, and "uranium" only results "tadoke/saved game/pokemon uranium" folder.

"X":\Program files(x86)\Pokemon Uranium Team\Audio

Thanks Wretched, interesting that my Windows search can't seem to find that folder, even if I input, "Pokémon Uranium Team". Means I need to research Windows Search and figure out why it's derping like that.

Welp, some time will be spent replacing music and sound files. Tested bicycle replacement with "Freedom by HOME MADE kaoku" and I'm nearly in tears from joy. Healing Pkmn sound effect,  GLaDOS's " http://i1.theportalwiki.net/img/3/32/GLaDOS_10_part1_entry-3.wav"

NOte: I'm very impress with the collection of sound files that had to be created for Uranium, J.V. you've done an excellent job. I personally like modd'ing. Ever since EA's "The Sims" price tag additional content, I resort to available modded content for my personal liking.

Ragnarok Online sure brings back some good memories .

Is there any chance that the different gyms will have personalized theme music? Like Techno for Sheldon's, Capoeira music for Tiko's, etc.

When you load up your game. Press the F1 key and there will be 4 boxes on the page that will appear. Untick the last two boxes that say "Play BGM and ME" and "Play BGS and SE" This will stop all sounds from coming from the game
