h0b0's art gallery for your spriting pleasure
I have ZERO experience with this, keep that in mind.
Since that disclaimer is over, I'm gonna tag along with all the rest of these people and do some public spritework.
Before that, the acknowledgements: Involuntary Twitch needs a shoutout for the awesome work she has done on the game itself, UraniumRainier for his art post that got a lot of people hyped, and AsianAnimator for the final inspiration to get me going on this.
Now, I only just started doing these, they are a bit tough, so I take forever doing them.
You guys/gals are allowed to make requests of me as long as they don't get too out of hand and I can understand what you are actually asking of me. You can choose any sprite/pokemon as long as I can find actual sprite for it. Should you use the sprite that I make, please credit the people I mentioned earlier, then me.
Here is my first work, the first out of the nest:
(What do I name that thing?)
If you don't catch all of what is going on there, that's Antarka's head (with added flame, for more flamey action,) s51's body, all pasted on Jackdeary's lower half and colored to match Antarka with a bit more blue.
For reference:

Re: h0b0's art gallery for your spriting pleasure
Perhaps you could try a fusion of Krillvolver, Coatlith, and Pajay?
Really like your first fusion by the way. Probably a bit too long of a name but the only thing I can think of is S51-Antarkdeary.

These always interest me, so if you don't mind, I'll place a suggestion/request here. I don't want to give you a difficult one, but I would still like it to be interesting, so these three are all facing the same direction, and their "parts" should fit together quite fluently.
If you get around to doing this, I thank you in advance.

Re: h0b0's art gallery for your spriting pleasure
Sorry I did not do yours first Bocajian, I really should do these in order, I am working on Krillvolver+Coatlith+Pajay now.
As for you Masato, here is yours
+ + =
I don't know what to think about it, it's quite awkward.
Nevermind, I fixed it, Dunseraph's legs were still attached, making it look quite odd.

No worries, I got nothing but time. Feel free to do them in whichever order you feel best/most efficient.

Do you think you can try Giratina (origin form), Mega Inflagetah (mirrored to match Giratina) and Dunseraph (mostly for the tail)? If you don't have too much time, don't worry about it.

Re: h0b0's art gallery for your spriting pleasure
A couple of things:
- There is less Pajay than you might have liked, I used his colors and that's about it.
- Splicing off of Krillvolver is incredibly easy.
- This one was super fun to make.

Hope you like it Bocajian!

Re: h0b0's art gallery for your spriting pleasure
Thanks, it's really cool! I usually include Pajay because I like the color scheme and his wing style. In this case I can see that his wings wouldn't really work on Coatlith's body though.
Btw, how do you do the rotating profile picture. I'd like to do the same with some of the fusions I've requested.
You can PM me it to avoid cluttering this topic.

Perhaps you could do a fusion of Baariette and Alpico and give it Krillvolver's revolver?

Re: h0b0's art gallery for your spriting pleasure
Thanks!
I have messed around with paint before (which is what I am using to make them, kinda sad) so that helps. I know more keyboard shortcuts than I should so that makes it go way faster, and after 5 I am feeling pretty good about them.
If you look at the Baariette+Alpico+Krillvolver you can see where I kind just copy-pasted Baariette's hair over the ear things to make it look authentic, not a whole lot of it is redrawn anymore since I got better with the selection tool.
To make them transparent I "greenscreen" them (which consists of taking the white background and turning the whole thing a super vibrant color not already in the picture's pallete,) open them up in GIMP and take the color selection tool, select the green (usually it's neon green) then delete it from the layer. All that is left is exporting it as a transparent .png file.

Re: h0b0's art gallery for your spriting pleasure
Paint.NET is a nice light program (like 10 MB) similar to GIMP. It's super fast and has a bunch of features that are pretty nice for doing pixel art. I was trying to edit some PC box backgrounds a few days ago and found out that none of my image editing programs (that would be Paint, Autodesk Sketchbook Express, Fresh Paint, and Pixlr Image Editor) could (or in the cases of Pixlr and Sketchbook, would) handle transparent backgrounds. I'd use Photoshop CS2, but my favorite thing about PS is the Quick Select tool, which came out with CS3.

Re: h0b0's art gallery for your spriting pleasure
I will be getting to everybody's requests on Monday, My birthday today so the weekend is clogged.
I am bummed to hear that I will be missing out on the quick select tool, I might get paint.net then too XD (bringing us to the grand total of PS, GIMP, paint.NET, and MSPaint)
