Can't load savefile anymore

I was talking to all the girls for online options that you can find in every pokécenter, just to find out what they all do. At the second one I chose yes and my game instantly crashed and keeps doing so whilst starting up the game. I reinstalled but that didn't help. I guess I tried to access something that has not been finished yet in the game. I can write out the error if it would help specify. Can this be fixed?

If you could post the error that would be great. I don't know why you crashed there since it should be the Virtual Trainer lady, which is currently in the game and functioning.

Try pressing Enter a few times when that message appears, after a couple of confirmations it should go away and you will be able to play normally.

I tried that, it worked. Then more errors pop up, I spam enter again, works again. Finally get in the game, says my savegame is corrupted

Look in the folder that holds the save files (C:/users/yourname/SavedGames/PokemonUranium). If the size of your save is 0 bytes, your game is lost, sorry.

0 bytes, had just finished all gyms and sidequests.. bummer :/

Sure thing! The same thing happened to me today. My computer froze up and caused my game to crash while I was in the middle of saving so I lost it.

Wow, my condolences to your time. Should there be a sticky for backing up saves with as many of them that are lost?

Thanks heh, I procrastinated backing up so I guess somewhere I'm to blame as well. Gotta say I thoroughly enjoyed playing it, only recently found out about uranium (through imgur). It feels authentic yet refreshing, made me feel like I was 8 years old with my gameboy pocket again. I'll definitely be having another go at this when some further progress has been made (since I've kinda explored every nook and cranny thus far).

I have gotten in the habit of moving a copy of my save file else where every so oft' that way nothing is lost should I run into something game crashing, etc.
