Auto Saving? Empty Auto Saving?

Post by Silfiik/KYO 2015-06-06, 11:17

Its incredibly annoying to restart if you haven't saved in a long time, maybe an auto save feature? Or saving automatically when you enter buildings/dungeons/etc.?

Would this be too much of a hassle if it was coded? I seriously had to restart twice so far in Vensei city because the bridge bug, and another bug.

All yah can do right now is just save a LOT. There are some bugs and after the first couple you are better off learning to save often.

I don't really like the idea of auto-saves because sometimes I may want to save in a specific spot so I may go back there if I mess up.

Not to mention that if you save AFTER a bug it could trash your save file completely.

I'm sorry, but as Polaris mentioned, it could auto-save after you've encountered a bug, which could ruin your entire save file.  Furthermore, it's not uncommon to not want your progress saved -- I commonly don't save my files because saving would be of a greater inconvenience to me than starting from my previous save.
