Playing through this, being in the ranger POV would be pretty awesome

I only ever played Shadow of Almia, a little bit of the newer ranger game as well, and I absolutely loved both. This looks like it'd be just as cool to be in ranger point of view.

it would, but then it would be an entirely different game! the rangers in Tandor use capture stylers just like the ones in the Pokemon Ranger series do. that would make it difficult to play with traditional pokemon game mechanics, which revolve around capturing pokemon in Poke Balls!

You do get to team up with the Rangers several times during your adventure, though.
