Have tried running as administrator and my firewall is completely ignoring the entire Pokémon Uranium Team folder. I have a full internet connection as well.

You need internet -- oh, you say your internet is working fine? That's the error that happens when you can't access the internet to establish an online ID.

I have no idea what to do then. I literally have my internet open and fully running as I try and save the game.

What can I do to help the game get a connection to my internet? Because I can say with 100% certainty that there is nothing wrong with my computer's connection to my router.

if nothing is wrong with your connection than check your firewall or antivirus ( maybe they block the uranium.exe)
on other games some errors go away if you start the exe as admin ..... you tried this ?

My firewall gives me no warnings at all. I've set Avast to completely ignore the ENTIRE "Pokemon Uranium Team" folder, and my router's firewall is set pretty minimal. I've also run the .exe as an admin and went into preferences to make sure permissions were completely open.

Not a single game I play ever has an issue connecting to the internet through my router.

Edit: Just tried running the game with my firewall and antivirus completely OFF and it still didn't resolve the issue
