Anime/Manga

Since there are many topics for various media here, perhaps we should all discuss this one as well. Which series are you all watching/reading currently? Which ones are your favorite? Any interesting cosplay experiences?

Feel free to talk about anything of the like here!

I've watched a lot of anime over the years, and one of my all-time favorites is Space Dandy. I like everything about it, from the groovy opening theme to the endearingly inept main characters to the humor, the crazy psychedelic sequences and surprisingly tear-jerking moments. In my opinion, it's one of the best animes ever made.

I've also seen my fair share of anime - sovest555 I like some of the ones on your MAL, akame ga kill and kill la kill are both really interesting anime, but I question your choice of bocu no picu...

Trust me...everyone does. It was watched in one go on a dare, so the entry is more in the way of battle scars.

Hahahah OK fair enough, what about full metal alchemist: brotherhood? Did you not like it? Also have you watched any of the super long ones? (Bleach, Naruto, One Piece & Fairy Tail)

It just didn't really pull me in when I watched it, and was too long to just grind through at the time.

I watched a bit of Naruto when I was younger, but not enough to put it on my list. As for the other three, no, and I have no plans to.

The Daphne Arc was as far as I got with Fairy Tail. I will catch up eventually but there is too much anime atm for me to watch

I want to finish Fairy Tail before I really start a whole new Manga.

Just finished Yurikuma Arashi. It's a great anime if you enjoyed Mawaru Penguindrum, or stuff like Madoka Magica.

Tried an ep of Assassination Classroom, and still enjoyed it.

I went through half of YKA... I had to put it on hold for the sake of my sanity.

As for Ansatsu Kyoushitsu...it was not my cup of tea.

Yeah. That's part of the issue. It can be VERY "wait is this part actually happening in the story?"
If you can get through the rest it's a very touching story. It hooks people in with the same genre stereotype style that NGE and Madoka Magica used.
The background isn't perfect, but hey a plot is a plot.
