Bug Should Resist Nuclear:

They say the only thing that would survive a nuclear explosion would be a cockroach.

Hence why I said "resist" and not be "immune".

There are many more studies that have proven this to be true. And to be honest, Steel being the only type that resists Nuclear besides Nuclear itself, makes it very unbalanced. Bug-type moves and Pokemon don't really get that much action anyway. With that said, I would like to see the Bug-type actually be viable as well! Please make this change!

Cockroaches are very niche.
Most insects are extremely sensitive to radiation, as experiments on fruit flies, bees, butterflies, many insects, would tell you.

In addition, nuclear being super effective against everything is sort of the point. If you give a resistance to it, to anything, it kind of defeats the main mechanic. I wasn't aware of that to steel, and in all honesty I'm not in favor of even steel getting a resistance.

EDIT: I do like the concept tho

Totally agree with LoverIan, the cool thing about nuclear type is that it's supper effective against everything (except steel).
